Chapter Notes

The Sparks Police Canine Unit (including police dogs Rocky and Cimbo) were the featured guests at the chapter's January 11, 2010 meeting. Ruth Hart also shared information on her six years as a Volunteer for the Silver-Haired Forum. She read a letter from Nevada State Senator Bill Raggio reappointing her to the commission. Ruth traveled last month to Washington D.C. for the annual Forum, after raising $2,000 to pay for the trip.

The group's February guest was Ralph McDonald, Census Recruiter, and a member of the Comstock Cemetery Association will be speaking this month when they gather again on the 8th.
