The High Desert Chapter was presented with their charter from RPEN State President Hal Keaton November 18, 2009. Officers are: George Cleveland, President; Judy Critz, Vice-President; Secretary, Debbie Cleveland, Secretary; Dorothy Morris, Treasurer and Judy Arellano, State Delegate..

The group last met February 17 in Bullhead City at the Senior Center at 1:00 p.m., Arizona time. Debbie Cleveland, Secretary, spoke to the group about horticulture and cactus care, how often to water, diseases and how to cure them. The group is hoping to hold a recruitment event for Wednesday, April 21, and is also actively trying to line up speakers for March, April, May, June and July. Their next meeting is March 24 at the Bullhead City Senior Center.
