Chapter Notes

The chapter will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Elko Senior Citizen's Center at 1795 Ruby View Drive. The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. All area Nevada PERS covered retired public employees and those in PERS nearing retirement are invited to attend. Information will be presented from the special session of the Nevada Legislature that ended February 23. RPEN State President Hal Keaton and RPEN Executive Director Marty Bibb will also speak at the event. An overview will include information about health insurance and pensions of interest to retired and active public employees.
