Chapter Notes

Michon Mackedon, a candidate for University Board of Regents District 9, spoke to the chapter in April about her reasons for seeking office. Her opponent, Ron Knecht, has been invited to speak to the chapter in May. Mackedon is author of the book Bombast: Spinning Atoms in the Desert and she also discussed the book during her visit.

The Churchill Chapter will host their annual picnic at Oats Pavilion in Fallon at noon June 19th. The chapter will provide the main dish, and ask members planning to attend to bring their favorite side dish along with their own table settings including a plate and utensils.
