Chapter Notes

The Chapter met January 26, 2010 and heard from guest speaker Mike Glass, the Lyon County Assessor. He explained that land values are down which means taxes are also down. His office also takes care of tax exemptions for Senior Citizens, widows and veterans.

Lyon County Sheriff Allen Veil will be the speaker at the February 23 chapter meeting, and Yerington Chief of Police Darren Wagner is scheduled to speak at the March 23 meeting.
